A Whirlwind Tour of Southeast Asia

After two delightful weeks in America, I returned back to Korea for the second half of my grant year.  My host family eagerly welcomed me back and I spent exactly one week back in Daejeon before I embarked upon a whirlwind tour of Southeast Asia.  During that time, I met my club class students for our final lesson, and taught an English conversation Winter Camp to ten delightful second-grade (now third-grade students).  I barely had time to unpack my stuff from America and then repack my epic over-sized backpack for my next trip.

Before I knew it, it was time to set off for an unforgettable journey.  For the two short weeks, I visited 4 countries, saw some incredible sights, and ate some of the most delicious food that ever crossed my lips.   The next few blog posts will be very picture-heavy, but I'll do my best to recall everything that I did and give context to each photo.

Here's the itinerary!
Jan 15-16: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Jan 17-19: Phuket, Thailand
Jan 19-21: Chiang Mai, Thailand
Jan 21-23: Bangkok, Thailand
Jan 23-26: Cambodia (Phnom Penh, Siem Riep, Angkor Wat)
Jan 26-29: Hong Kong

Check back soon to read about all my adventures!
